Has WSU ever played an exhibition against an MLB team? I'd love to see the Royals come through Wichita on the way back from AZ.

Not that I know of and GCU may not be playing a MLB team either. I would guess most of the D-Back players who will play agaisnt GCU will likely not open the season on the D-Back MLB roster. Just a guess. Still it's kind of cool experience for the college kids.

I have a retired friend who takes a week or so of vacation to attend the Royals Spring Training camp every year and says he has a blast.

I'll try to summarize Valley play:

DBU won 2 of 3 against New Mexico and also beat ranked Rice in Houston midweek. They are 5-2.

Bradley stands 3-3 after winning 2 of 3 last weekend against T&M CC, the Gargoyles dropped 2 of 3 to Tennessee Tech 7-13, 7-5, 14-16

SIU is 4-3 after a 7 game road swing. Winning all 3 at Stetson last week, the Salukis lost at Austin Peay on Wednesday 3-10, then dropped 2 of 3 at Louisiana Monroe 3-4, 9-0, 4-6.

Indiana State is 3-4. The Trees split games with Marist 3-9, 3-1 and lost a pair to Mississippi State (in Starkville) 6-11, 1-9 No home games.

MSU is 6-1. They beat ORU midweek 9-5 then beat Belmont 7-5, Lipscomb 6-4 (11) and Middle Tennessee State 5-0 over the weekend in Nashville.

Evanville is struggling at 1-6. They lost a midweek game at Vandy 4-7 then dropped all 3 over the weekend at Southern Miss 10-14, 2-9, 2-18. Zero home games.

Illinois State lost 3 games at Memphis 4-5, 11-12, 1-3 to fall to 2-4. The Redbirds haven't played a home game yet.
