  • Car pool to Manhattan: $20 buys you XM radio

So here is the dilly-yo, yo.

One could call Shelly by Tuesday and pay $40 for a bus ticket, a game ticket, and a sub for the ride home. No one has to drive late and everyone is happy.

However, if there is enough interest (read 2-3 people) that want to carpool, I'd consider just driving.

    Pros:
You don't have to ride in a bus, you get a lush Honda Pilot w/ Leather treatment.
XM Radio to and fro means no flint hills silence.
We don't have to eat planet sub!
We can leave a bit later and get home a bit earlier.

    Cons:
You have to put up with my driving, read crazy like I am.
    I may tune into 80s on 8.
We may end up eating at planet sub anyways.
I hate stopping for pee pee breaks.

So, any takers? The pilot seats 8 but you would have to be really small and really weird to want to do that trip in the 3rd row. Really I can take 3 more very comfortably.

Oh man, that's really funny. I'm just picturing 8 shockernetters cruising through the Flint Hills in a Pilot. What interesting conversations would abound.

80's on 8, I will pass. That is the worst station. 60's 0n 6 and 70's on 7 are much better. Was there a worse decade for music than the 80's?

You don't tune into 90s on 9 very often do you?

Or go back to a simpler time with 40s on 4, or even better: High Standards 73.

I'd ask if there was a better one!

Spyro Gyra and David Sanborn put out some great albums!
