Ok, maybe the better question to ask is, how many schools don't receive votes in that poll?
    Deuces Valley.
    ... No really, deuces.

      Butler must've voted for himself.
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

The CB poll has become kind of a joke; sort of college baseball's analog to the coaches poll. We used to be ranked preseason every year in that poll, until Gene left, no matter how much mediocrity those of us who actually follow the program expected. It was nice, but kind of made it look like a farce of a poll.

The BA poll is the go-to, and we won't be sniffing that as long as the previously-fired, cumulative 90-83, McNeese State coach somehow finds himself at the helm of our once-proud program.

Makes you wonder if they do that in hopes of selling more magazines.

I think "joke" is maybe a little strong. CB and BA values different things. BA has a strong bias to schools that are stacked with pro-prospects - which there is nothing wrong with that but it means they do get some things wrong. CB seems to be more "program" oriented which leads to maybe lesser known teams with less "pro-prospect" to get ranked. Generally this helps midwest/northern/western schools.

This is a top 40 poll with 91 teams also receiving votes. So 131 total. There are 300 D-I teams. So 169 do not receive votes.
