I just heard him speak at a leadership lunch here in town... Really good guy. You can tell he is pumped about this season and is very optimistic. I think he feels like he finally has things in place. Of course injuries are always the X factor, but I think WSU is going to make a lot of noise in 2017.
Volleyball kicking butt, basketball team will be salty again... hoping the baseball team joins the party. :)

I know what you are saying but we wouldn't want a coach who wasn't jazzed and optimistic for the season ahead. The team needs to produce and I hope they do.

You could tell he felt free to "speak his mind" I think is how he phrased it. Recruiting is catching up and the tension with Brent is gone. (he didn't talk about that. My inference) He's a good guy... And he hasn't looked at a message board since 2007. :)

Oh I agree, but then every coach is really jazzed and optimistic before the season so really it is completely meaningless.

I hope we finally turn the corner this year too!

Perhaps he should consider looking at a message board. He might find some good ideas. When you take a regional power and go 21-37, perhaps the "no stone unturned" method is the way to go.
