Congrats to the 'Cleers! I have to admit that I am jealous. They have long been the athletic department that I have hoped that we could emulate. The recent success in football under Moglia and the long term success in baseball under Gilmore. Sprinkle in some success in basketball with Cliff Ellis too. Mock the Sun Belt if you like, but it is a salty baseball league and an up and coming football league too. Hot Springs maybe isn't St. Louis but I would rather go to a conference basketball tournament in Hot Springs over St. Louis most days. And nearly any time in March.

I think we have a salty baseball team coming back in 2017. I can only imagine what a similar run to (and through) the CWS would do for Missouri State. It would really bolster our case for realignment purposes. And I just read that CCU will be an Under Armour school as of midnight. Nice! It's a Chanticleer world and we are all just paying rent.

We probably aren't interested in a guy like Coastal Carolina's coach. We are going to stick with Butler for the same reason Loyola is in the MVC. :)

Seems to me the last time we played Arizona in baseball, we beat them 2 in a row in a regional here in Wichita. Believe that was 2007. So add that to the tally!
