  • Good Feelings.

You have to feel good about this team. They seem to be able to just win games no matter how crazy it is.
    And I AM LOVIN IT!
Sometimes those are the teams who can go far, kinda like Irvine last year, they just seemed to mesh well.
Seems like when one player starts hitting on this team they all do.

Starting Pitching has been lights out over last several starts.
And while we have some bullpen issues i think we will find some guys who will find their groove.

Personally I think andy womack still can make an impact.
He was a lil wild in his early apperances.
    but pitched well today.
I may just be biased cause hes a personal friend.
But looking at it outside of that, hes got a good fastball and a nasty slider.
I think if he can start getting in a groove, he could do some work.

    Who else is feeling great?

Go beat someone and then get back to me on that great feeling.
Let's hope he can hit a D-1 Curve ball!

I like your enthusiasm Rip but this team still has much to prove against top rated opponents. I hope thw team uses the LBSU sweep as proper motivation when it's tourney time.

            I just feel cold.

I'm getting TIRED of putting on so many clothes to go to baseball games.

According to "Earl Pitts - American" on the ads on the radio, the Shockers are out along with girls in shorts.

            BS

I haven't seen any girls in shorts yet, just girls in COATS.

I'll feel better with a 5-0 week and some warm weather, though, I'm sure. ;)

I have no idea who that is.

The one that I observed was delivering stuff to the golden girls.

She must have been a very good swimmer.

I'm feeling better than a lot of SIU baseball fans.
                              Bingo.

If Cal had ONE conference title or ONE NCAA birth I'd be in favor of him staying. He has neither. If the goal isn't titles, then why are you here?

The "top of the field" argument doesn't apply because Cal is no Gene Stephenson.

                              This is in reply to:
It isn't the field that keeps the Salukis from winning. As we've said before McAndrew is a pit, but seems Coach Kill was still able to win in it. The arena conditions aren't perfect, but that didn't stop Weber from rebuilding the program. Using the facilities as a an excuse (which I have not heard Cal do by the way publically) is not a reason for not winning. When did the football and basketball programs get the $ to improve their conditions? AFTER THEY STARTED WINNING GAMES AND CHAMPIONSHIPS! Do you think we'd see the new football stadium if the team was still winning 4-5 games a season? Do you think the city would be willing to donate 20 million dollars to support a program of losing teams? Once the baseball team gets the results on the field, they will reap the benefits off the field. Cal hasn't been able to do so and it is time to move forward. Sorry you can't accept that, but this isn't about which coach is the greatest guy, this is about which coach can get his players to win games and championships. 14 years and we are still waiting. I said it before, Cal could benefit the university from within the athletic department to raise money and such, but in terms of getting the baseball program to the next level i'm sorry 14 years and ZERO post season trips or conference titles means it is time to give someone else a shot.
Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.
