Conor was just a single away from the cycle today.

Surreal: at one point it was snowing and the sun was shining.

Capra was PO'd that Gene pulled him after the 6th, but he was all smiles after the game. What an outing by Anthony. No hits, 12 K's in 6 innings.

Logan Hoch was sharp today in relief.

Andy Womack had a good outing today.

Our relief pitchers had some trouble adjusting to the taller than normal mound.

The dirts areas of Duffy Bass field are really soft. Made it tough to get our running game going.

Kevin Hall had a large contingent in attendance this weekend.

The crowd today numbered probably, oh, maybe 100, and that's being generous.

I had to download and listen to the game today (monday) and when I grabbed it off of shockerradio.com, it clocks in at a 5 hours mp3.

I knew this was not a good sign.

Then I listen to Capra do 6 no hit innings and I'm thinking, oh god ... this is going to get ugly.

Then the bullpen comes in ... and they score 2 and I get ready for the worst.

Way to fool me Hubris, way to fool me.

Great game shox. It is a shame Cap had to be pulled.
