This team is bad. Pitching is worse than when I played at west urban 15 years ago.
I didn't go, of course -- hard to imagine why anyone does at this point. But I just looked at the play-by-play and saw that WSU made the final out of the 5th inning, down 14-6, ON THE BASES (officially, Ritter was caught stealing second). Can someone tell me how that's even possible, down eight runs?

I assume (but maybe give to much credit) that it was a botched hit and run.

It sure looked like he was safe sliding into second as well.

The home umpire also missed a very nice play by wsu trying to get an OU player running on contact from third base. Troutwine clearly blocked the plate and tagged the OU player and did it before any home plate contact. Butler didn't even bat an eye or say anything.

Then after multiple WSU pitching changes, the home plate ump was very lose on the wsu batters strike was and very tight when WSU was pitching.

Whoever started at 2nd for WSU had a really POOR game. I think he committed or should have been charged with 3 errors alone. He threw wide of first base on an easy routine ground ball, missed multiple ground balls or knocked them into center field.
