I'll hang a lot of this on Butler for sure but my question is has Kemnitz just "checked out" on this team.He shows no emotion and doesn't seem to care like he has in the past.In times like these,you would expect him to be doing some hard nosed coaching trying to save face.

Would not be surprised is butler told kemnitz to stop giving mound visits. Like i said in an earlier post, i was in no means a huge kemnitz fan or his favorite, rumors spreading around that butler treats kemnitz like garbage and tells him to shut up when kemnitz is adressing the team... like i said, may just be rumors but i do believe it

Would have loved to have heard HCTB's sales job to the WSU admin, to pass off his performance at McNeese.

I was trying to drink the Koolaid when he was hired, but I couldn't get my mind around why a guy with that glaring issue was the best choice for our proud program. Couple that with the rumored Kemnitz discontent, and the fact that the third guy on the staff has a resume more worthy of Enterprise, and one can only shake your head at what has occurred.

If you're a Shocker baseball fan and you can tell yourself that you'd rather have this mess than the same period of time with more of Gene (warts and all), then you are insane. Gene was going to need to retire sooner rather than later, but I can't imagine a worse set of circumstances leading to an outcome than what we got on the timeline from Gene's firing to where we sit today.
