Back to back hitters go down with the bats on their shoulders. Pathetic. Baseball hitting 101, protect the freakin plate with two strikes! Oh well, I was hoping an undefeated week against ORU and UNM would get us ranked, that ain't happening with this bad loss.

We clearly have some holes in our lineup and holes in some of our swings.

Disappointed that John Hayes could not put this game away. Perhaps the Stopper of the Year List nomination did more harm then good. 1 inning, 1 blown save, 1 loss.

Good outing by Tyler Jones and clutch hit by Trey Vickers were the highlights for the Shocks.

Way too early to say, and perhaps I'm wearing rose colored glasses,but I'd like to think that this was just a small setback and that the first 2 games will be the rule and not the exception.

Lot of season left, let's see how the team bounces back next week.

I 100% agree with Kc Shox though. With those teams from the 90s, every game this weekend would have been about a 20-2 win, give or take
