I am upset. I really liked his show, his Shocker knowledge and connections, and his astute observations. I will miss the Shane Dennis Show. He gets my vote to become VOTS when Mike Kennedy decides to stop (but not anytime soon).

During Gene's last few years, Shane seemed to have more insight into the team's struggles than the coaching staff.

He's a damn good announcer, but I'm not so sure he wouldn't be a hell of a manager if that's what he wanted to do.

Agree. Guy in the afternoon always is comparing everything to his home state Alabama. The 1410 morning show guy tries hard but really needs a sidekick. His long pauses make me think they either went off the air or something is wrong with my radio.

I did hear Shane say at the end of one of the tourney games that he will be back in the booth with MK next year. Glad this is happening. Really missed him on color this year.

I really enjoyed having the 2 of them calling a game in the MVC tourney together. Was great. Not as great as with Elliot, but so it goes.

Shane Dennis has been hired as an account executive at Shocker Sports Properties. Also in that article - Sheri Jans, Chris Jans' wife, has been hired as a Senior Account Executive. Looks like Chris might be sticking around Wichita a little bit yet.
