Shox get a big double play to get around a bases-loaded jam in the top of the 1st.

My expectations are that they will play today and a DH on Sunday.

          1-1 Top 5

Evansville's Kaczmarski is 3-3, raising his season average to .478.

Apparently no one let him know this was not a video game.

Anderson giving a good effort today, would be nice if we can get him a W.

                    3-1 Shox Top 7th

2 on and a guy hitting .478 at the bat. Pitching change time. We shall see if this move pays off.

Why are they even pitching to Kaczmarski? Is the guy behind him that good?

                          He doubled.

3-3. Disappointing for Anderson, but at the same time the hitter was 3-3 off him already so it's a little tough to blame the coaches for making a change in that spot. Great outing by Anderson. That's a couple outings back-to-back by Shocker starters that are a little more useful, pitching well into the 7th.

This is a good question. I think the odds, even in that situation, say not to move the tying run to 2nd with the IBB.

Perhaps. I guess you could have lived with a single. Hopefully, he hit a good pitch and not anything that was left out over the plate.

I'm sure HCTB did not really want to go to John Hayes this soon if he could have avoided it.
