I didn't say anything about coming and spending your money. I said don't hate and tear down the players. I don't support Todd Butler either. Can't stand the guy but that's doesn't mean I'm going to say our players have no talent or they can't play. That's all I'm saying

The last time I paid money to watch them play in person, infield flies, pop outs, grounding out to the short stop, 1st, 2nd and 3rd base, tons of errors, pitching issues galore. I absolutely refuse to pay money to watch that circus again. The coaching sucks.. And then there's the product on the field.

Okay, thanks for clearing up your view. We have very similar views I believe. Our players from what I can tell have been playing their heart out and just haven't found success. I believe their time will come after we hire a new, proper coach.

They lift, go to class, and the go to the field to practice till 5 o'clock or have a game to play. These guys work hard and I'm sure most of you don't know what goes on behind the scenes so maybe you should find out your facts before you talk.
Why aren't you at the game supporting the nation's best 7-16 team?

              The scoreboard says otherwise.

When something is damaged beyond repair it usually needs to be taken down to bare elements before reconstruction can begin.

WSU_BASEBALL2 - This is a message board where people go to vent their frustrations. I think for the most part we do a good job of not attacking the talent of individual players (other than posting stats and questioning coaching moves or individual plays), but that doesn't mean we don't support the players or the team. We wouldn't be here if we didn't care.

That said, reports of players laughing and joking in class the day after the worst home loss in school history tends to contradict your statement about the players living, eating and breathing baseball. When I played sports, decades ago, it was unacceptable for a player to talk on the bus or flight home after a loss (much less joke, especially in public). There was NOTHING to say! You should reflect on your individual and team failures and spend the time thinking about what you can do so that NEVER happens again.

On another topic, it appears we like to have the best hitting line up in the game regardless of whether or not they have played that position. That works out against decent (not good or great) pitching, but it can also make for sloppy baseball at times.

I assume you were talking about baseball. I wasn't there but I would imagine it was somewhere in the 50-100 range.
