I think it's just 3-0. Still, not looking great.

3-2. Honestly some pretty great execution in the 5th by the Shox.

            3-3.

Shox have struck out a ton, but this pitcher is quite good.

              5-3 Shox Bot 8th

Arens with a huge 2-out 2-RBI single to take the lead.

Have to be very happy for Bob Arens. Talk about perserverance and loyalty. Now hopefully the pitching staff can get 3 more outs and hold the lead.

Pretty solid pithing by Bargfeldt, Sanborn and Hayes. Really nice closeout by John Hayes.

Coming from 3 down to beat a top notch Friday starter and a top closer is not an easy feat.

Glad to see that the Shocker still have some fight in them.

Yep. And really, the hitters struck out a lot and didn't hit the ball all that well, but they executed quite well. Most of their runs came from drawing free passes, executing a bunt, and getting a clutch hit.

They also played error-less ball for the 2nd straight game, which has to be a high for the season.

I thouhgt the key inning was the 7th when Indiana State led off the inning with a double and a walk. Chandler Sanburn getting the force at 3rd on the sac bunt attempt was big as John Hayes came in to get the DP grounder to end the threat.

Clutch 2-out hit by Bob Arens to drive in the go ahead runs in the 8th after Jordan Farris struck out with the bases loaded and 1 out.

4 of the 5 Shocker runs scored on 2-out base hits.

It's not how you start but how you finish - games and a season.
