The problem is that our team is too busy checking shockernet for updates on Marshall

Shocks tie it up in the 2nd with a lead off double followed by 2 sac flies.

Then with 2-outs Mikel Mucha singled and Ryan Tinkham homered to put the Shocks up 7-5.

The wind has aided both the KU and the Shocker home runs.

So the Shocks with touchdown and KU with a FG and a safety after 2 innings.

Just like in "The Battle of Omaha". KU gets out to an early lead, before WSU comes back for the kill. :)

Shocks with a makeable field goal attempt in the 3rd hooked it wide left.

They had loaded the bases with no outs but Trey Vickers hit into a 5-2-3 double play and Michael Burns struckout.

Hopefully, that does not come back to haunt them.

Ray Ashford gives up a KU solo homer in the top of the 4th.

However, the Shocks attack again in the bottom of the inning ringing the bell for 4 rums and an 11-6 lead.

Sam Hilliard dials up his 4th and 5th ribbies of the game with a 2-run single.

Each team has scored 2 touchdowns. Their kickers are ****.
