Shox played pretty well all day today. I didn't think they were going to get a win to show for it, and the numbers certainly weren't amazing, but considering the competition I wasn't all that disappointed before the bottom of the 9th.

It's just one game of course, but beating their stud without Tewes is pretty impressive. Hopefully we can build on this and keep it rolling tomorrow behind Anderson.

Update on Saturday's game?

Game: Gauchos 6 - Shockers 3.

One bad half inning - the top of the 4th - did Isaac Anderson and the Shocks in today. Reagan Biechler with 3 excellent innings of relief work to keep the Shocks within shouting distance. Mikel Mucha had a good day at the plate going 3-4. Chase Rader with a solo home run.

Shocks struck out 10 times today and drew only 1 walk. Shocker pitchers set down 11 Gauchos on strikes themselves but they did walk 4.

Shocks can still salvage a series win tomorrow and that would be more than acceptable in this series.

It's a beautiful day for baseball and I am hopeful we'll see good baseball.
