At the game today. @Cdizzle: and @1972Shocker: pretty much nailed it. I thought after the first 4 innings, things may not be as bad as we thought. I was wrong. Butler has his hands full with this group and I've been (and will still) support Coach, but there were a number of head scratchers. Why was Burns leading off (and he looked totally lost at the plate his 2 first at bats and was 0-5)? Why was Schwanke, a lefty bat hitting about a buck fifty, the DH facing a lefty pitcher?

The botched fake to 3rd, throw to first was handled worse than a Y team, add 2 passed balls, a WP, and 3 errors.....yes, Keystone Cops.

1. Has anyone heard any updates on Sam Tewes?

2. Do you think, if I ask very nicely, they would let me use by bargain Shocker season tickets for admission to Shocker softball games?

Down 4-1 in the ninth. Just 4 hits today, but no errors(!!) for the first time this year.

Shocks gave up 2 runs in the top of the 9th. Our late inning relief pitching is not looking good so winning close games is going to be very problematic.
