Glad to see WSU convert with RISP. May not have mattered in the outcome of today's game, but they need to continue building execution in those situations.
TSU kindof going to the extreme of letting a guy "take one for the team." Regardless of how great a season he may go on to have, this ace's numbers are toast for the year.
Shox 9-14 RISP so far today, which is probably the most encouraging thing.

Shox need to get their throwing errors under control a bit, especially the pitching staff.
Kihle was hit in the back towards the end of Game 1 and came out of the game, and now isn't playing in Game 2. Hopefully just precautionary with the cold weather.
WSU living on the edge, but getting out of jams. Yet to dent the scoreboard in any of the columns except errors. Hopefully that changes as they roll around to the 2nd time through the order.
Great AB by Mucha. Took a called strike 2 so that Burns could steal 2nd. Then battled and hit a fly ball to right that moved Burns to 3rd with just 1 out. That is a productive AB that wins games but doesn't show up in the box score.
And Dearman makes good on it with a Sac Fly. Great execution!
