Did you have to pay the $9 'order charge' when ordering at the ticket office?

I ordered mine online. Do I pick them up at the stadium ticket office?

I did consider it a donation to my favorite charity. Me!

Bought mine at the ticket office and had to pay the $9 "ticket processing" fee. Got my tickets on the spot. Still a great deal!

I'm not sure. I just paid whatever amount they told me. I purchased 8 seats and had to pay more than $240 so there was an extra charge tacked on.

There will likely be some free tickets added to the ticket exchange from me this spring.

Re: Ticket use for Hill access.

We were told that chairback season tickets were always supposed to have been valid for use on the hill, though the staff had not executed this properly recently.

We were also told that they were changing policy this year so that chairback season tickets AND single game chairback tickets were valid for Hill use. From the conversation, it sounded a lot to me like they were fully aware that it had been a problem, and they were hoping this change would make it easier to give the fans what they wanted, and to enforce correctly.

I donated two general admission Women's Basketball season tickets to Big Brothers - Big Sisters this year. They were thrilled to get them. In that case, the ticket office printed out individual game tickets and mailed them to the Bigs instead of the plastic card season tickets so they could more easily dole them out.

Seems like a definite effort in place to win back some fans and, perhaps, gain some new fans. I like it.

I will say, that is a great deal...
The one thing that Louisville baseball has going for it is that they do not charge for ANY home games... All are free to the public

I think the biggest part is to get butts back in the seats. From there you have to perform on the field to keep em comin back. The administration is trying to take care of the first part and I believe HCTB thinks he can provide the latter. Just an aside but when the Baseball team was signing posters HCTB was standing off to the side and I asked him why he wasn't signing and he responded that it was for the "guys". I told him that wasn't necessarily true because I wanted his autograph. While we talked I reminded him of a couple of quotes that I had read in the paper over the last few months and he just looked at me and said "you sure remember alot about what I say. I responded and said "So get quoted accurately and don't lie". He just smiled.

$1 a game. That sounds like a Creighton Basketball promotion to me. :smile-new:

And like the quiet center we can have beer. Of course the beer stays really cold this time of year.
