Once one regularly gives something away to others, even if it would not have been expected by others in the beginning and may not be done other places, one will become the bad guy when he stops.

It was not a gimmee - the cost was rolled into the package. It is kind of a duel edge sword for the adminstration - it might bring in additional revenue, but the fans a choice that maybe now some might not take since this program is struggling. But they could have s feeling that thing are going to change and in the future the market will bear this up charge so they are making the break right now.

I agree, SB. With the baseball tourney almost always in Wichita, the administration could roll it into the season package on everyone, but it would appear to be an addition perk to getting the season ticket. I guess if it would make some people feel better, they could charge more for the season ticket every year, tourney in Wichita or not, but that could be a "lose" situation for overall sales. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
