WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State added two baseball games to its 2008 schedule after losing two games to weather over the weekend. The Shockers will play Northwestern (Iowa) at 3 p.m. on Mon., Feb. 25 and they will play Emporia State at 3 p.m. on Tue., Feb. 26.

Fans should use their tickets from the Sat., Feb. 23 and Sun., Feb. 24 Fordham games for admittance into the games this week.

Shocker right-handed pitcher Aaron Shafer will start on Monday, while right-hander Tim Kelley will start on Tuesday.

This is a good move. With LBSU on tap for the weekend, the guys need work. LBSU is coming off a 2-1 weekend against Rice who is/was ranked top 5 as usual. Big difference between a tune-up vs. Rice and WSU's first 3 opponents, but just getting on the field is a necessity at this point.

It's gonna be windy as hell out there, so be prepared - football weather again!
