Elam in to pitch the 8th with a 2-1 lead.

Still clinging to the 2-1 lead to the bottom of the 9th. Sounds like Elam will stay in and try to close it out.

Not much offense, but the pitching was again fantastic.

All the seeds are set for next week, except for Bradley and SIU for 7th and 8th.

SIU would have to win at DBU and Bradley lose at home to Indiana State to keep SIU out of the basement.

That would set up a rematch of WSU and Illinois State with Evansville and SIU and the Aces faced with a dilemma as to whether or not to use their ace POY against the Salukis.
