  • Twins starting twin Shockers today

The Twins are starting back to back former Shockers in a day/night doubleheader today against the Dodgers. Mike Pelfrey started the first game and lost 9-4 and Kris Johnson will get his second career start in the nightcap. Being a Dodger fan I'm torn but glad to see some former Shocker arms in the bigs.

Kris threw the most exhausting 4.1 shutout innings (4 H, 6 BB, 106 pitches) I've ever watched. Twins lead 1-0 in the bottom of the 5th.

Not a thing of beauty but hopefully it buys him some more time with the club.

Ten base runners. No runs. A Houdini act.
