Shockers (21-21) play Tulane in the 3rd game of the series. Not much to say except what Kennedy said after the last game "This is getting a little old".

Rain dissipated this morning, but building in the gulf headed this way.

Boys seem in good spirits. Loose and ready.

Strong wind blowing out to left today. If Simpson, who hit one over the net that is a good 30' over the fence again, it could land in a busy Claiborne Ave and do some damage.

Glad to see us on pace to avoid the sweep I guess. Hopefully we can get things turned around and have a little positive mo heading into the MVC Tournament since its our only hope for a regional at this point.

We do continue to get good mileage out of our big 3 SPs.

The crazy thing about this team is how awesome our weekend starters have been.That is what makes it so frustrating.We lose so many 1 run games because we have no horse in the pen to ride and players that don't do the little things to win ball games.AJ,Cale,and Sam have been as good as anyone,anywhere.Take 2/3 of our weekend guys and Gillaspie away next year and we could be looking at the worst Shocker baseball team ever.

For the record, 2nd basemen never got back to his position after feigning pick off, and ball was hit at him on a rail. Two short steps later Micah was out.

Understood. The irony is that he isn't even at second if Tulane doesn't make a bonehead play to let him swipe second. Probably wouldn't have been doubled off.

No worries, though, with the Shockers mostly playing well today.
