Daniel Kihle's injury apparently bigger than we may have initially realized.

9-pitch 6th inning for Cale as he cruises through 6 innings with his pitch count at a modest 69.

No one want to give up the run that break the Bears scoreless streak which now has reached 56 innings. The Bears may need a GPS to find home plate if and when they do score.

              How about now?

Dearman to left and DH Zimmerman or Phillips or something. He's just an auto-strikeout right now.

Yeah, you would think they have someone else they could plug in there that could perform. To his credit HCTB gives these players plenty of opps to prove or disprove they can play. Joe's back-to-back hat tricks aren't too convincing that he has the goods.

Casey G. with a 2-run double scoring Dearman and Parker who had both walked after Joe Haddox lead of the 6 with a strike out.

Dearman was the catalyst as he waked and then promptly stole second and third.

Casey has driven in all 4 of the Shocks runs.

                  Shocks 4 - Bears 0 after 6 complete.

Haddox finally managed to put the ball in play.

Unfortunately, it was turned into an easy inning-ending double-play.

I'm nit-picking a bit. The Shox are doing a good job of taking care of business right now. Just trying to find the next level, which I think they're capable of.

                      We let them score! FAIL.

What an impressive run of offensive ineptitude.

A win for the MSU program today.

I'm sure Springfield is going crazy.

                          5-1 Shox Win

Just a little sloppy in the 9th, but overall, so far so good in this series.

Need to wrap up the sweep tomorrow, heading into a stretch of 8 against RPI T75 teams that could define the at-large possibilities for this team.

I have to say the move of Parker to the 2 hole has been a good one.Props to coach Butler on that one. Were under the radar right now but this team is looking solid from where I sit at the Eck.
