    Maybe 3rd time a charm.

Hitters categorically refusing to give Ladwig any support so far.

1-0 SFA at the 7th inning stretch, Shox with just 3 hits and a walk.

We just struck out three in a row. And the opposing pitcher did it in nine pitches.

As long as we can keep it within a run, I'm confident they'll hand this one to us.

The SFA starter struck out the side on 9 pitches in the bottom of the 7th. Yeah, our guys are really making some fine adjustments at the plate.

            I blame Harbutz & Parker.

Shane is, to say the very least, unimpressed with the Shocks approach at the plate today.

1-0 SFA to the top of the 9th.

Back to back shutouts would be pretty disappointing. Gillaspie-Simpson-Kihle-Baker due up for WSU in the bottom half.

Hopefully we can hold them then run into one.

Same crappy hitting. We just need to patient and wait for Butler to get all of his guys into the program. The Stephenson leftovers just aren't cutting it but I have hope Butler will recruit better.

The obvious exception being Casey Gillaspie. Just not sure how many good pitches he will see this year if we can't find anyone to plug in behind him.

Pitching has been pretty solid. Guess that's why we kept Brent around.

Ashford and Palmer hold the fort in the top of the 9th.

                        Jaime Bluma rally cap time.

                          Simpson on 2nd, 2 out....Baker up. IBB.

Interesting choice to say the least, putting the winning run on base.

And it doesn't backfire as Green flies out to end it.

                            Darn.

Double header tomorrow will tell us a lot about this team. Its hard to stay locked in for 2 games. They should have something to prove after back to back shutouts.
