Tailgating rules/locations?

Hey! Is tailgaiting allowed on campus? Alcohol yes/no? Best places? I'd love to do it, but I live far enough away I want to make sure it's ok before dragging the smoker/cooler/music all the way to Wichita.

Tailgating can be done just about anywhere but it used to be most prevalent along 21st Street and over by where the former athletic fields were. The parking lot east of Eck is a good spot. Alcohol use has really been weird every time and I think it depends on the campus police and who is interpreting the rules/law. I have been there and they said as long as it was in a cup it was fine and others said NO alcohol at all unless its a sanctioned event ie alumni party. Check with the guy making the patrol and see what he thinks or send a inquiry to the athletic office. The worst that has happened to me was I was told to get rid of what I had and don't do it again. Shame on me.

I'm pretty sure pot, even if it is purchased in Colorado, is off limits.
