        Not quite. In 1957 California was 5-0 and gave up only 3 runs for a 0.60 ERA. They had 3 shutouts.

        And all 5 games were complete games.

          Interesting. I did a quick search but couldn't find the answer...Was it five different pitchers? Are there old box scores anywhere online?

            Here's the link I got the information from. The 3 shutouts were by Doug Weiss, Kim Elliott, and George Sterling. I assume the other 2 that didn't have shutouts were different pitchers.

                They used three pitchers. Weiss threw on the 8th and the 11th. Sterling threw on the 9th and 12th.
