  • Ultimate garage sale item . . .

Well, this is interesting. My son-in-law played baseball for WSU around 20 years ago, then went on to get his doctorate in Physical therapy and lives in Kansas city doing sports work for Chiefs, etc. He and my daughter are building a new home and while cleaning out stuff came a cross this travel duffel that Gene gave my son-in-law when he played for him. timing is everything - if this was a year ago I would donate it to a Shocker benefit auction and raise some dough. In light of current events, I don't think that would be a good idea. I was also concerned if it is sold, Gene might forget he gave it away and question where it came from. I did reach out through people close to him to discuss it and (understandably) was told he would rather not give out his contact info. The person who told me said, however, there would be no problem in selling it. So, any bids? Estimate of value? ways to benefit WSU? I am considering putting it into a YMCA Charity auction to benefit Strong Kids next month. Any thoughts out there? Thanks. GS Travel Duffel.jpg (Man, that old WuShock WAS scary!) If you can't read it, the name says "Gene Stephenson".
If you take the high road, you won't find much traffic there . . .

I think they need to go back to a scarier looking WU. No more mr. nice guy stuff. If the Shocks are going to play angry they need to look the part.

The retro look fits the sport of baseball. Let's do it. If there is any sport that can get away with retro looks, it's baseball.

That is sweet. I think the Shocker auction would love it eventually but maybe next year it would still be too raw. The YMCA sounds like a good place. Hope you find it a good home.
