I have been wondering. After the introduction fan fair was over at Eck Stadium, Coach Butler went on the recruiting trail the very next day. Does he have any commitments as yet?
Just wondering.

No reported recruits yet but its a lot like hunting, if you are on the trail you might find something, however if you don't leave the house you are almost guaranteed to not find anything.

well you have to be feeling pretty good knowing Butler is out there with this:

Butler is an outstanding recruiter, and he has previous head coaching experience at McNeese State. He helped the Razorbacks reach Omaha twice in eight years, and he has brought in four recruiting classes that have ranked in the top 10 of Baseball America’s annual rankings.
Butler is regarded as a strong recruiter, who was instrumental in helping Arkansas put together signing classes that helped the Razorbacks reach the College World Series twice during his tenure. It included Arkansas’ 2010 signing class, which produced pitchers like Ryne Stanek, Colby Suggs, Barrett Astin and Brandon Moore.
The group played a key role in helping Arkansas turn in a 1.89 earned run average in 2013, which was college baseball’s lowest ERA since the 1976 season.
Arkansas’ signing classes regularly ranked among the nation’s top 10 by Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball. Five of Arkansas’ classes were ranked in the top 10 with Butler on staff. The Razorbacks have had 57 players drafted in that time.
When the Shockers were searching for a new baseball coach, I admit that I was strongly in favor of Coach Hooper.
I was not so much opposed to Coach Butler as I was in favor of Coach Hooper.
I now believe A.D. Sexton got it right and hired the right guy. I have not been particularly appreciative of A.D. Sexton's job performance, but I am very pleased with this hire.
Call me crazy, but I believe a turn around is on the way. I surely like what I see so far in Coach Butler's performance.
Everything feels good so far. I iz so optimistic. I just may purchase season tickets again.
