Will any current Shocker players (seniors included) be drafted tomorrow?

I hope Goedert doesn't sign and comes and plays his sophomore and junior season for WSU. He hit for a lot of power in high school, then he hit 11 HR and 22 doubles this season for Neosho Community College. That doesn't sound like a lot but thats good for 6th in country in doubles and 8th in homeruns for NJCAA Div I. I think this guy could supply some power at 3rd base next season.

July 12th. Last year it was July 13th. It is now tied into the All-Star game break.

Tewes goes to Blue Jays round 22
Minnis goes to Houston round 25
Goedert goes to Pittsburg round 34

I think Brandon Peterson will sign for sure. Not sure about the rest of the guys.

Tewes fell a lot from where he was projected so that might indicate teams weren't convinced about his signability. If Brent was not staying on as pitching coach I think Tewes would sign. But with Brent staying I think we have good chance that Tewes will be a Shocker next year.

Minnis was drafted in the 33rd round out of high school so he has improved his lot a little since then although I'm sure not as much as he hoped. My guess is he will sign although there is a small chance he may want to roll the dice and see if he can have a big senior year and move the dial in his favor.

Goedert signing may depend on who we bring as the new head coach and how interested he is in going to school.

Hopefully, we have the new coach on board within the next two weeks. One thing about Kevin Hooper he can certainly tell the guys what they have to look forward to as they work their way through the minors.

If you remember Albert flirted with the Braves out of high school after being a very late pick. Can't blame him, baring an amazing season next year he wouldn't improve stock and probably get a worse signing bonus whatever it was. Good luck to him in his pro career.
