Brummett worked nicely out of that jam. Would love to see him go the distance..

    ... No really, deuces.

He's on 97 pitches. I'd give him the 6th and then try Austin Sanders, Mateycheck or some such for the 7th. Don't burn him up.

I am guessing Kris Gardner is the man for this afternoon?
          That's my guess.

Tanner Dearman has been great in the lead off spot and Garrett Bayliff is just on fire lately.

If we score 20 in 7 innings, can we run rule them twice and get the earlier loss back?

According to Shane, Manaea is in all likelihood unavailable as he's still suffering with shoulder soreness.

Since they beat us 5-1 in game one we need to score 24 and hold them scoreless. That would make it 25-5 in two games and we would get the earlier loss back. :eagerness:

Good to see Daniel Kihle and Tanner Kirk get at bats here.

Surprised they gave Mucha double there. Looked to me like he RF was there and just dropped it.

Is ISUb pitching their game 1 starter who got scratched at the last minute? I heard the announcers mention something about it, but didn't hear what they said.

Thanks -- I haven't been able to listen much. If that's true and remains so, it would be a huge break for the Shocks, even in Wholestaff mode.

Thanks for the info on run rule loss recovery, 1972. Pretty complicated -- I'm glad you're there to clarify.
