Way to go Conor! I do remember him hitting an inside the park home run when he was with the Giants.

" ...It is going to be close, it could go either way..." He nailed that prediction.

Hope Conor keeps this up!!! As long as he keeps hittin, IMO, he'll keep playing over Keppinger @3B ... Dirks, unfortunately, seems to be really struggling out of the gate (at the plate ... his fielding/baserunning never wane) ... I hope he can get hot here soon before Leyland goes in another direction in that last OF/everyday spot Dirks is fightin for

Where's Dirks? Did he aggravate his injury again?

We sure could use another Conor around these parts.

The White Sox have sat Conor down the last two games for some reason. No word of an injury.

He's still hitting .278 and how a team that bad offensively can sit him down is odd. The White Sox are 29th in Average, 29th in Runs, 29th in Slugging and 30th in OBP.

Keppinger has played 3rd in those 2 games. He has a robust average of .184 after 125 AB. His OBP is worse at .181. Without looking, hows does a player after 125 AB have a worse OBP than an average?

Conor had a sinus infection during the series at KC and went 1 for 9 or 10 with a walk. He now has an upper respiratory ailment. Get well soon Conor, the CWS need your bat in the lineup! A big fan--WSUBB00!
