Most encouraging thing from today was A.J. Ladwig's outing -- 1 run on 2 hits and 1 walk in 6.2 innings in perhaps his best outing as a Shocker. Aaron Labrie with a very solid scoreless, hitless relief outing going the final 2.1 innings. Now can A.J. wash, rinse and repeat.

A pretty miserable day to be playing baseball which may have helped Ladwig and Labrie but that didn't seem to slow down the Shocks who banged out 12 hits and collected 5 walks in scoring 8 runs off of Johnny Wholestaff (10 ORU pitchers in 8 innings). All 9 Shocker starters had a hit in the game.

Not much, if anything, to complain about today. :good:

Zach Beringer supposed to get the start tomorrow against Nebraska-Omaha. I hope Zach remembers to call out UNO very time he gets down the last out of the inning.

Shox on a roll. Slowly digging themselves out of the hole.

Except the weather. It was totally miserable out there. The wind was awful. I am still frozen.

The Shox played great. One of the best outings that I have ever witnessed by a Shocker team against Oral Roberts.

I hope Zach is ready. He looked good in fall ball for the little bit he pitched. UNO is a team the Shox should dominate. GO SHOCKS!

While the Shox looked great today in all facets of the game, it is hard to say right now how good Oral Roberts is, but we will find out soon. ORUs next 13 games are against Texas, Fullerton, DBU, OU and Central Arkansas (Cent. Arkansas is 11-1 this season).

Always fun to sweep ORU. Glad the boys are playing better after that awful start against Pitt
