Zimmerman walked and Tyler drove him in just doesn't have the same ring to it I guess.

Glad to see Kris and Garrett have a nice game on the mound. Hopefully this can be a confidence builder.
It looks like we may not be as apocalyptically bad as opening weekend suggested. Western Illinois is pathetic, but ORU and UALR are respectable foes. I will take solace in the fact that we won't be embarrassingly bad if we can sweep the doubleheader tomorrow and Sunday's game.

Hey guys, UCA fan here. Excited for our game tomorrow. You looked pretty impressive against UALR...a team we play soon. I have to say im pleasantly surprised at how we've started the season off. 8-1 so far (swept murray state, jackson state, MVSU, and beat kansas). Vanderbilt is our only loss. I see that most of your games have been canceled so far so at least you should be well rested haha. You beat a western illinois team that beat Arkansas. Im interested to see how we fare against you guys...hope you have a fun time in bear stadium and check out our unique football field while you're at it :tennis:

In the 4th Johnny Coy strikes out for the 2nd time in the game and for the 12th time in 27 AB's this year. Casey has two good swings but nothing to show and Tyler Baker has two solid base hits for the Shocks.
Mateychick gave up a 4-pitch walk to open the bottom of the 4th. After getting a pop-up, a steal, a wild-pitch and a single (on an 0-2 count no less) produces a run for New Orleans.
After 4 its UNO 1 - Shocks 0.

Mikel Mucha leads off the 5th with a single. Dayne Parker follows with a hit-and-run single to put runners at 1st and 3rd with no outs.
Tanner Dearman taps back to the pitcher moving Parkert to 2nd. Mucha holds at 3rd.
Garrett Bayliff followed with a sac fly to left to plate Mucha and tie the game at 1-1.
Casey G was walked (semi-intentionally) to put runners at 1st and 2nd for Johnny Coy.
Johnny taps back to the pitcher as the Shocks leave their 4th runner in scoring position.
Time for basketball.
