Was told today that seats in the new first 6 "premium" rows will be available only in groups of 4 and will cost between $2500-3000 for the group.
I'm out on that. If they do it in the entire former blue seat section I might just stay home and watch on the + from now on.
If the AA-Club stays the same price that is a much better value imo.Brummett throws, STRUCK HIM OUT! THE SHOCKERS ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! AN UNBELIEVABLE STORY!

I too like everything they are doing with the upgrades and the name. Just think the increase is too much for the product on the field. Are they better? Yes. But they are still maybe 3rd or 4th at best in the American. We can hope they get a good seed and get hot again to win the conference tournament.
I think they are pricing it as if we are a regional team. Unfortunately we are not there yet. We are closer but I think still a few years away. I hope I wrong.

Baseball Unveils 2025 Schedule, New Seating Options
VIEW SCHEDULE
The schedule includes a trip to Hawaii for the first time since 2013 and home series with old rivals Cal State Fullerton and Missouri State, plus a midweek date at Globe Life Field against Abilene Christian.
Fans can secure their seat for every game at Eck Stadium this season by placing a $20 non-refundable deposit for 2025 season tickets here or by calling the Ticket Office at 316-978-3267. Current season ticket holders will receive renewal information in the coming weeks.
The Shockers are introducing a VIP seating section in the first six rows behind home plate. The mesh seats will have a headrest, drink rail and cup holder, with in-seat food and beverage service available. Down the first base line, Eck Stadium will now feature 24 premium loge boxes. Each box includes four seats, a half-moon tabletop, four concession vouchers per game and in-seat cocktail service.
The Shockers open the 2025 season with eight road games, beginning at McNeese State on February 14. After three games against the Cowboys, Wichita State departs for Hawaii, where head coach Brian Green served as an assistant coach in 2003 and 2004. Wichita State and Hawaii have played 45 times in program history, but have not met on the diamond since 2013. The Shockers play five games in the Aloha State, four against Hawaii and one against Chaminade.
Wichita State's home opener is February 28, kicking off a three-game series against Cal State Fullerton. Following the series, WSU heads to Arlington for a March 5 midweek against Abilene Christian at Globe Life Field, Wichita State's first game at a Major League stadium since 2014.
Upon returning home, the Shockers welcome in longtime Missouri Valley Conference foe Missouri State for a three-game series, taking place March 7-9. A two-game midweek set at Nebraska and a three-gamer at home against defending Conference USA champion Louisiana Tech close out the non-conference weekends.
The American Athletic Conference schedule consists of 27 games divided into nine three-game series. The Shockers host UAB (March 28-30), UTSA (April 11-13), South Florida (April 25-27), defending regular season AAC champion East Carolina (May 2-4), and Memphis (May 15-17) at Eck Stadium. WSU hits the road for conference sets against AAC tournament champion Tulane (March 21-23), Charlotte (April 4-6), Florida Atlantic (April 17-19), and Rice (May 9-11).
The midweek schedule is filled with familiar opponents. The Shockers play Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Oral Roberts, plus a home midweek tilt against BYU on May 6.
The American Athletic Conference Championship is scheduled for May 20-25 in Clearwater, Florida. The tournament will once again be held at BayCare Ballpark, spring training home of the Philadelphia Phillies.
