There's that big 2-out rbi hit. Very nice. I think conference and tourney chances are gone, but could still try to have a nice little season. Try to play some good ball down the stretch and hope to get hot in Florida.Comment

I just hate the way the pitching is done today. You get a guy that comes in and strikes out a guy, take him out because of MATCHUPS, and he promptly walks a guy, wild pitches, then walks the next one.

It's not a leash. It's bringing people in to face just 1 or 2 hitters based on R/L matchups. Which I just don't think makes that much sense in college baseball bullpens. If a college pitcher reliever comes in and is spotting his stuff, you should just ride him for a bit. IMO, the % gain of chasing the matchup is WAY less than the % loss on the chances the next reliever doesn't have it. Cuz this is college, not pros. And you're talking about the 10th best pitcher on a middling college baseball team. Those guys are gonna have it like 30% of the time.Comment
