I noticed that tonight one of those guys the Shocks signed but couldn't hang on to, former Owasso OK (i.e., Bluma HS) star Pete Kozma, started at SS for the Cardinals in their important game (in the wildcard race) against the Dodgers. Of course, it was following the 2007 season that Kozma was a first-rounder, and things stayed good for a little while after that. But the storm clouds were just over the horizon, even though we didn't see them at the time.
