If I remember correctly, Diz, WSU is hoping to appeal for him to be eligible this coming year, but normally he would not be under the current transfer rules (which require a player to sit out a year).

"Oklahoma transfer Chase Simpson plays 3B and will likely sit out next season due to NCAA transfer rules. WSU may look into appealing to the NCAA for a waiver for Simpson, who can also play 1B and 2B."
