What would be interesting to know is how many players on the Shockers 2023-24 roster are playing in this tournament.

We know that Josh Livingston is playing for the Lonestar Kraken.

Hutchinson Monarchs have current Shocker Jaden Gustafson and former Shockers Cooper Harris, Jarrett Flaggert and Hogan Shelby.

Former Shocker Robert Cranz is on Santa Barbara's team.

      Probably mostly former Shockers.....

Nice to have a Kansas team win the NBC and doing it by beating the outstanding Santa Barbara Foresters is icing on the cake.

That batter wasn't questioning that final called strike was he or was he just trying to cover up his embarrassment.

Must be with a Santa Barbara fan. I believe they won the last 4 NBC Championships.

Coach Green might want to go ahead and offer the little kid who tracked down Jaden's home run. Watch the video and watch that kid track that ball and flat cover some ground to beat everyone to it.

                Impressive.

Jaden has had a very, VERY productive off season in my opinion. He's set himself up for a potentially good season. And I love seeing Shockers, past or present, getting to celebrate championships.

Oddly enough I saw a Wind Surge cap on someone in Denver. You don’t see those outside of Wichita.

We were flying through Denver on our way out to Santa Barbara today. Come to find out there were several SB Forresters going home on our flight.

We were moving my stepdaughter into Shocker Hall and heard some people talking about getting here from Santa Barbara. I assumed it was to move their student in, but maybe not.

You wouldn't believe how expensive colleges in CA are. I would not be one bit surprised to see multiple people from CA sending their kids to a school like WSU, as even the out-of-state tuition is more affordable than in-state tuition at CA schools in many cases.

A lot of schools are getting to be pretty generous about waiving a good portion or all of the out of state fees if you have good grades in HS.

Not surprised. A lot of people here is Southern California send their kids out of state. Both because of costs and it’s easier to get admitted. Admissions here are insane. A lot of kids go to AZ, Oregon, CU, SMU and TCU.
