Sanders was a second-team All-Sunflower League pick after going 3-5 with a save for the Hawks last season.
His peripheral numbers — a 2.02 ERA with 51 strikeouts and only 10 walks with three complete games, including a no-hitter against Olathe North — paint a better picture of Sanders’ season and the Shockers’ interest in adding him."
