I wouldn't say it's for all the marbles, but it's certainly for this pocketful of marbles. Whoever wins this series has a huge upper hand on the other. ECU lurks one game back. All 3 have tricky last 2 weeks (we get USF at home then embark to Florida for 2 weeks starting with UCF), ECU is at a suddenly hot Cincinnati, then hosts Memphis before also heading to Florida for 2 weeks starting with USF. Houston has to go to Tulane then finishes with Cincinnati at home which figures to be a pinball like scoreboard for 2 weeks.

I think I'd be quite pleased with winning the last 3 series 2-1. 16-8. Houston would have to go 6-0 in it's last 2 series to finish ahead of us in that scenario, and ECU would have to finish 8-1. Plus, wins in the next 2 series and we go to Orlando controlling our own destiny and knowing each game is for a conference title, and I like that. I think I'll take my chances there. But if our guys wanted to sweep this weekend, I'm ok with that as well.

That being said, weather is dicey all weekend in the greater Houston area. Chance of storms everywhere, which means lightning if not rain. Will be tough to get 3 in I think.
