Ty Blach is tough. CU shortened his work last week against the Shocks, ostensibly to make sure he'd be ready to go the distance today, and if really lucky, come back on Saturday. ISUB is in a lot of trouble right now. Still 3-0 bottom 6.

If Creighton hangs on, they are probably the favorite to get to the finals out of that half, and would likely throw Blach again. Tough league top to bottom.

Lest you think this is funny, Cody Forsythe and his 2.79 average who gave up all of 3 hits and no earned runs against the Shocks earlier this year, and Bradley's Joe Bircher (2.62 ERA) who threw a complete game giving up 1 run in beating Missouri State earlier this year, are both tough as nails for the remaining "higher" seeds.

Indiana State a little fortunate to only be down 5-0. It could have been worse. Going to the bottom of the 7th now.

This wouldnt be good for WSU's at large chances. Indiana State really needs to come out of this bracket to ensure somebody doesn't try to steal a bid. A Tree loss now pretty much means they're done.

Ty Blach is just dealing, and he's had a ridiculously easy day. He'll go on Saturday if the Jays can get there. Indiana State has put themselves in a terrible spot now. They must win at least 2 and probably 3 or 4 now to feel decent about an at large. They have ZERO wins against any tournament teams outside of the conference, and in fact were 0-4 against tourney teams in the non-conference. One seeing-eye single against WSU and they'd be the 3rd seed in the league. They are now squarely on the bubble....at best.

Ty Blach with a complete game 1 hit masterpiece. I had him for only 102 pitches and ZERO stress the last 40-50 pitches. He will be fresh if they can make it to Saturday.

Not funny at all. Everyone seems to have a solid #1 guy and there are a number of very good #2's also. The Shocks are not excluded from that group but they don't stand apart either.
