"I discovered surfing, which I absolutely fell in love with. That feels good and kind of keeps your body aligned, so does the salt water." - Anthony Kiedis

Video of Scott Byerley. Looks to hit 85-90 on his FB with good movement and a pretty decent curve. From the batting video, I would guess he is more of a pitching prospect.

Report from perfectgame.com:
Scott Byerley is a 2012 RHP/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends Olathe East HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. Tall balanced delivery, stays over the rubber well, extended arm action with a short hook in back, 3/4's arm slot, repeats delivery and release well, ball comes out clean with minimal effort. Steady mid-80's fastball, occasional running action, projects to throw harder. Tends to slow arm on curveball and changeup, some downer shape on curveball, flashes hard spin but needs better consistency. All the ingredients there to keep improving. Spread crouched stance hitting, long swing with the makings of some bat speed, mid field line drive contact.
Looks like I was looking at old info. Apparently he has signed with Creighton...YUK!Last edited by Spaulding; April 11, 2012, 07:20 PM."I discovered surfing, which I absolutely fell in love with. That feels good and kind of keeps your body aligned, so does the salt water." - Anthony Kiedis
