common theme of the year - from the radio crew

WSU not off to very good start
bad pitching, bad fielding and no hitting (but poor base running when do get on base).

After 3, Shox trail 4-0. ISUR is not a very good team - a good team would be beating WSU by 10 right now as bad as they are pitching and fielding and hitting....

Is Mormann really our no. 2?

I hope everybody enjoyed the one win this weekend yesterday.

He smells like number 2 the way he has been pitching lately.

Shocks with a nice effort at the plate in the top of the 6th are able to push 3 runs across and get back into the game at 4-5.

Nice job by Aaron LaBrie to settle things down after Mormann and Minnis pitched like Mickey and Minnie.

Shocks get a run to tie the game at 5 all in the top of the 7th. Outs 2 and 3 were very loud outs.

I am assuming that was a "Why McGreevey". TJ did allow runners to reach 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs, but give him credit, he did strike out Illinois State's best hitter to keep the game tied after 8.

It was, but they mostly did it to themselves.
