Chuck has made good progress from last season and is our most productive hitter this year, leading the team in BA and most categories. Unfortunately one of those categories is Ks. He's been punched out a ridiculous 36 times in just 113 ABs. That's an insane number of Ks, especially considering he's hitting .310.

But yeah, that AB isn't making his mix tape anytime soon.

I agree. In that situation, I understand the desire to want to jump on the first pitch, but that is a big time situation, and that first swing on a horrible pitch gave the pitcher a ring of confidence. I would have made him throw a strike before I even thought about swinging. Keep the pressure on him.
