During our first series, (after game 2 iirc) a couple of posters called for Mike Pelfrey to be fired because of our dismal bullpen pitching performance. Who should be fired now? Our hitting was atrocious. We are now averaging below 5 runs per game (4.6 runs per game) for the year.

Lets have some more tremendous solutions to our hitting problems.

Naw. It’s just baseball. Best team wins less in baseball than probably any other sport. It’s the nature of the sport and the main argument against one game playoffs.

Sarcasm. For Willy Nilly calls to fire coaches. In the case I mentioned, the plea to fire Pelfrey was made after the second game of the year, evidently because the pen peed down their leg during a loss.
