Josh Hansell was our winning pitcher last year vs. Oral Roberts. He pitched 6 Shut out innings with 7 K’s. Nice outing but he did nothing the remainder of the year.

I looked him up, and he is now pitching at Arizona State. He has 3 appearances this year. 1 as a Starter and 2 in relief. He almost had zero outs and has a 27.00 ERA. He evidently didn’t learn Wedge’s on accountability. Maybe we dodged a bullet when he left.

Boyer will get the start for WSU. Oral Roberts will start Andrew Roach. Roach is a transfer from Charlotte, where he was their #3 starter in 2020. He’s only pitched one inning this season.
