Thought the same. No idea who this is. But nice to have a replacement that I enjoyed. Well done WSU SIDS or Entercom.

This announcer is good, but imo, no better than Shane Dennis. Shane’s a Shocker All Timer, and as a former son of a big league pitcher, and a professional pitcher himself, he gives a little of what’s on the mind of a pitcher who is on the mound and the coaches.
Obviously, Shane has a current full time job that limits his availability to be a regular broadcaster, but I wish he could always do it.

Iowa is 4-1 after dropping one last night in extra innings to TXAMCC. Freshman Marcus Morgan gets the start for the Hawkeyes. He threw 4 scoreless innings against Bucknell last weekend in his collegiate debut. Will Stevens gets the start for the Shockers. We know he has electric stuff, but command will be the key.

I am going to say this again and people can call me crazy but I think this team will start hitting. Right now the problem is our hitters, including our veterans, are pressing because they don’t trust our pitching staff to hold up. Eventually they will get used to our lack of competence on the mound and loosen up, but we could be 3-15 by then.
