There are enough arms to audition from that we will find something serviceable but experimenting against #15 on the road is a tough way to find them. Our offense seems improved, approach at the plate way better and defense solid. Starting pitching remains to be seen, but additions should help.

My apologies for wasting people’s time.

I am not quite ready to write off this team or this program after only 2 games. Today's finish was very difficult to take for sure.
Payton Tolle gave us about as good as you good expect in his first start. The bullpen totally imploded.
Jace was not as good as we hoped he would be yesterday but I suspect he will give us his share of quality starts.
On offense the Shocks still strike out too much for my tastes with 25 K's in 2 games. 5 of those are from Jack Sigrist our lead off hitter. Is his injury affecting him at the plate? Chuck Ingram is next with 4 K's. 11 of the 25 K's came from guys hitting 1-2-3 in the order. Not exactly setting the table. I can't believe that will not improve.
We may miss Corrigan Bartlett, Paxton Wallace and Hunter Gibson this year more than we thought we would.
It's along season. Let's see what happens tomorrow and beyond.
